Upcoming Workshop: Yoga for Stress & Anxiety with Sheri Boyle


All of us feel the effects of stress and anxiety at some point in our lives, and for many of us, we feel it on a regular and even daily basis. Why we get stress doesn't need to be explained--we all know how balancing family, work, relationships, wellness and illness, and any number of other commitments can take its toll on our minds and bodies.
You might feel stress as a heavy weight bearing down on your shoulders, as a racing heartbeat, as a knot in your stomach. Wherever you feel it, stress and anxiety can diminish your quality of life and time that you spend with those you love. Learn how to better manage your stress in this workshop coming up next weekend at Centerville Yoga.

In this 2 hour workshop you will learn the difference between stress and anxiety, possible triggers, and mind body strategies that awaken the heart and soothe the mind. Participants will be guided through a three phase yoga practice of transforming anxiety into higher consciousness and compassion for self and others.

Sherianna Boyle is the author of The Everything Parents Guide for Overcoming Childhood Anxiety as well as Powered by Me for Educators Pre-k-12. She is an adjunct psychology professor, former school psychologist, parent educator and yoga instructor for the past twelve years. Sherianna also works privately with clients with stress therapy practices and as a certified energy healer at Centerville Yoga.
